Sara Blue Baker has brought it to our attention that next Saturday (21nd of September 2019) she’ll be running a cape making workshop aimed at 5-9 year olds. During the 2 hours your little Caped Crusaders will be exploring lots of exciting surface design techniques such as print, stitch, collage and drawing to design and decorate their own cape. Afterwards they’ll be striking a pose for a professional photographer so you’ll get at least one high resolution image to keep, print and frame 😁it’s going to be tons of fun and will get their little minds thinking creatively 🎨
The even descriptions sounds like this:
"Sit back and relax whilst your little caped crusader engages with an afternoon of exploration and creativity!
We'll start the session with a friendly introduction before getting stuck into learning about the different ways that we can decorate our capes, children will be encouraged to explore print, stitch and drawing by creating a range of samples to test out their ideas.
Next they'll be given then chance to create a rough sketch of what they want their very own cape to look like before getting stuck into putting those ideas into reality!
As they enjoy a soft drink we'll then be giving each capped crusader the chance to strike a pose and have their photo taken wearing their creation (all images will the be available to parents the following day.) "
Aimed for ages 5-9 Tickets are £7.50 each
