The popular restaurant has made it to the finals of the upcoming Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards (ARTA) for the South West award category. These awards are also known as Britain's Curry Oscars and recognise the best when it comes to Britain's £5.5billion curry industry.
Nibana, located on Morshead Road in Crownhill, Plymouth, has been named as one of the best indian restaurands in the UK and will compete for the title of best indian restaurant in the South West.
The winners will be chosen based on survey data from ARTA partners ChefOnline, who already surveyed over 350,000 customers, asking them about their South Asian cuisine preference in their local regions.
This evening, Sunday the 13th of October, Nibana will be represented at a red carpet event at Westminster Park Plaza. They've said that "We're really happy to be nominated in the finals. Events like these give us that extra motivation to carry on doing well. It's always good to get recognised for the hard work you put into the business."
The family-run restaurant and takeaway is probably the best-loved curry house in Plymouth, boasting an extensive menu, with lots of authentic Indian dishes. It's normally fully booked, mostly by regular customers which proves their fantastic reputation.
